Parul Shah (MSP, RSW)

Mental Health Advisor

Parul has been a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers since 2002 and has a private practice service offering personalized counselling from ages 7 and up.

She has three undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Social Work and has successfully completed her Master’s of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix.

Parul has worked as a Social Worker at Children’s Aid Society /Child Protection Services across Ontario for over 12 years.

She has experienced the great length of what it takes to be an advocate for a family, for a child, for a couple, for a woman, and for a man.

Working in this field has given her a vast amount of experiences and dealings with domestic violence, addictions, child abuse, abandonment, psychological issues, anxiety, trauma, bullying, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Parul has worked closely with First Responders, Military, Veterans, Correctional Officers, Probation Officers and Parole Officers dealing with their mental health injuries and helping them in peeling away the layers of pain while supporting both them and their loved ones.
